Our favorite go-to place in Bali! Canggu is one of the hippest, most relaxed villages and located on the west side of the island. Chill out at one of the amazing beach clubs, have the best smoothie bowls, learn to surf, stroll through the bohemian markets, visit stunning ricefields or join some yoga classes… the list is endless!
For the most beautiful beaches in Bali, you need to go to Uluwatu. This lovely laidback town is located on the southern tip of Bali and has many great things to do. From beautiful beaches with impressive cliff viewpoints, trendy restaurants, and beach clubs to epic surf spots and beautiful temples. A great place to start or end your trip through Bali with.
Seminyak is a popular place in Bali and located close to Canggu and Kuta. It’s a trendy town with lots of boutique shops, great restaurants, and beach bars to enjoy the sunset. There are plenty of places to stay in Uluwatu and with a scooter or taxi you can easily reach all the nearby highlights.
Ubud is a wonderful village located in the center of Bali and offers many hotels & hostels surrounded by the most beautiful rice fields and impressive nature scenes. From white water rafting, visiting waterfalls, hiking volcanoes to cooking classes and meeting monkeys, there are so many things to do in Ubud. We recommend staying at least 4-6 days to see all the highlights, but you could also easily spend a week without getting bored.
Munduk is located in the north of Bali, a 1,5-hour drive away from Ubud. It’s a great place to stay and explore all the beautiful spots in the north. From amazing waterfalls to swings overlooking a lake, and trekking through rice fields, Munduk has it all. Count at least 2-3 days here.
Nusa Lembongan is a beautiful island with a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere compared to its big sister Nusa Penida. It’s an amazing place for snorkeling or diving with the Mola Mola (bucket list!), surfing or enjoying stunning sunsets at the beach. Worth a visit, even for one night!
Nusa Penida is a beautiful island off the coast of Bali, which you can reach by speedboat in only 30 minutes. It’s still quite a remote island, but with many incredible and adventurous things to do. It’s a famous place to swim with the giant manta rays and has huge cliffs, stunning ocean views, amazing beaches, and breathtaking landscapes.
